In our 24th year of delivering quality arts projects in and around Bristol, we continue to develop new partnerships in each of our four key areas of development: touring community theatre, neighbourhood arts, youth theatre, and work with learning disabled people.

Our projects include theatre, carnival, music, video and visual arts, involving hundreds of people every year.

acta Centre

We are based at the acta centre in Bedminster, Bristol; a former youth centre, which we refurbished in 2002 with funding from Bristol City Council and Arts Council England, South West. The centre is a base for all our work, with offices, storage, design and costume studios, and a large hall which offers a well designed rehearsal and performance space for both acta groups, and visiting participatory arts companies.

Hire the acta centre

The acta centre is available for hire. It is suitable for theatre performances, workshops and conferences. There is a pull-out raked seating unit and room for up to 150 people.

We also have a supply of technical equipment available for hire including lights, sound equipment and Q Build portable staging. Please click following link to download a copy of the hire policy and booking form or contact us for further details.
