Our work with learning disabled people is currently focused on hosting The Misfits Theatre Company, who are based at the acta centre, and led by Project Manager, Tony Holdom, who is seconded to acta from Bristol City Council.
In 2008, acta worked in partnership with The Misfits to deliver the Forgotten community play.

This play has been created in just two weeks by the children at St Nicholas of Tolentine Primary School and is their own work, working with the acta production team. The children took as a starting point the memories gathered in recent interviews with older members of the local community to produce a great show that shouldn’t be missed! ‘The World on Our Doorstep’ will be performed at St Nicholas of Tolentine Primary School on Friday 29th June at 5pm. Admission is free, please call the acta centre to reserve a ticket.
