ROTN leather jacketThe Rhythm of the Night project aims to offer a range of creative workshops for people with learning difficulties in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Most recently acta groups worked towards The Rhythm of the Night Festival, a celebratory showcase of creative arts and theatre in Bristol City centre as part of Creative Bristol 2005. Other events within the programme include regular Cabaret nightclubs, an opportunity for people to socialise and dance the night away. Rhythm of the Night is funded by Lloyds TSB Foundation, Arts Council South West, Bristol City Council and Quartet Foundation. Click below to find out more about acta groups.

Festival labcoats Bristol City centre had a weekend of street theatre, stage theatre, cabaret, live music and DJs from 7-9 October with over 400 people attending the event. Click below to find out more.

Showcase – On Board

13 – 15 February. Young people involved in On Board groups will be showcasing their performances – come along and see circus, music and theatre performed at Lawrence Weston College on Wednesday 15 February.

The Foyer Christmas Lantern Project

19 – 23 December. An action packed week of creativity is planned for the Bristol Foyer, a supportive lodgings centre for young people between the ages of 16-25. Together with acta arts and drama workers the Foyer residents will create a winter spectacle, transforming the centre into an visual and acoustic wonderland.
